The customer's maintenance system was built in Excel. The app digitises those documents: it cuts administrative time and improves the flow of information between maintenance and production.

Maintenance records often live in separate Excel files: the machines in one, the tasks in another, the spare parts on hand in a third. That makes it hard to say when a machine was last serviced, or whether the part needed is still in stock.

The app moves those records into Business Central. The machines, the maintenance tasks defined for them, the task lists and the stock of maintenance materials all sit in one system, and consumption is posted where the machine and the task are recorded too.
